October 1, 2013 - The CBTF Technical Committee is pleased to announce a special learning opportunity for its members...

DAZZLING!!!

ONE OF NORTH AMERICA'S TOP COACHES AND JUDGES...

....ONE OF THE MOST TALKED ABOUT SEMINARS AT THIS YEARS INTERNATIONAL CUP

***** COMING TO CANADA THIS FALL *****

Don't miss your opportunity to participate in Kathy Forsythe's webinar series on multiple baton for coaches and judges.

In addition to the skills learned in the Solo event, the Two-Baton twirler must learn correct timing and how to coordinate and integrate both batons so they complement each other. When this is done correctly a higher level of difficulty is accomplished.

This education webinar series is divided into three sessions. All three sessions are valuable to both coaches and judges - members are encouraged to attend all three sessions regardless of your professional focus. The online weminar series includes:

Webinar #1 (October 27)

This session is designed to aid the coach when instructing the basics of two baton. It also aids the judge to recognize correct timing and execution. Webinar #1 includes:

  • the modes that should be included in a two baton routine
  • the timing required to accomplish certain moves
  • how to teach the basic skills so that execution is seamless

Webinar #2 (November 10)

This session deals with the judging of two baton (International Cup Levels B and A):

  • recognizing difficulty and intricacy in each of the modes
  • determining the variety of 2 baton skills
  • rewarding proficiency displayed through the inter-relationship of the batons

Webinar #3 (November 17)

The final session in the series teaches the coach and judge:

  • routine construction
  • progression of skills
  • how to make a trick harder

Each session will begin at 7pm ET (6 pm Central, 5 pm Mountain, 4pm Pacific) and will last between 1 1/2 and 2 hours, depending on questions.

This webinar series is being offered at CBTF-subsidized rate of $25 for all three webinars, or at $10 per webinar on a session-by-session basis. Online Seating is limited - only 25 sites can view the webinar - so act fast to avoid disappointment.

Registration is on a computer-by-computer basis. Each computer requiring access to the webinar must be registered. Several people can share the same registration by watching the webinar together on a single computer.

  • The online sessions are now completely sold out.

Shortly before each webinar, you will receive an email with the online webinar link. This will be sent to the email address entered when you checkout and complete your payment from the CBTF Store.

All webinar purchases are non-cancellable and non-refundable once the checkout and payment process is completed.
