January 26, 2009 - The two judges selected to represent Canada at the 2009 International Cup in Sydney, Australia will be Brenda Cooper and Lucinda McMaster.

Both are fully-certified WBTF Masters Judges, certified to judge all WBTF International Cup events. In addition Brenda Cooper is also a certifed WBTF Clinician.

Brenda and Lucinda have judged at numerous Provincial and National Championships as well as many Provincial and National Team Trials events within the past 7 years. On the world stage, Lucinda was one of Canada's judges at the 2007 WBTF World Championships and International Cup held in Hamilton, Ontario. Brenda's most recent world experience was at the 2006 WBTF World Championships and International Cup held in Rome, Italy.

Brenda has represented Canada as a judge at 7 WBTF events since 1990. While the Hamilton event was Lucinda's first experience as a judge on the world stage, her experience as an athlete includes representing Canada at 11 World Championships, highghlighted by capturing Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in individual competition.

In addition to their judging duties, they will also be representing Canada at the WBTF Technical Meetings held in Sydney before the competition begins.
