At the 2009 Fall Technical Meeting, the Technical Committee proposed that the Individual Group Status system be eliminated. Instead, coaches will establish the Level of their group as part of the first competition entry or by the CBTF Group Declaration Form (whichever is submitted first).

This proposal was accepted at the 2009 Fall Board Meeting, for immediate implementation. The revised Group Declaration Form is attached.

With this change, Coaches are expected to establish the Level of their group only at the beginning of the season. Coaches should not change (raise or lower) the level of any particular group after the group's first competition.

Mandatory Advancement, through scores received during the competition season, will still apply.
