At the 2008 WBTF Winter Technical Committee Meeting, Paola deMarchi, WBTF Technical Chair, asked Dale White, USTA Judge, to create a presentation and DVD pertaining to Artistic Expression. Dale prepared an informative document on this subject which was handed out at the 2008 Summer Technical Meeting and which is now available on the CBTF Website to the CBTF Technical Association members. 

He also spoke on this document at the meeting noting that, as the new WBTF Judging System comes into play, it is important that all judges and coaches have a better understanding of Artistic Expression. 

In the document, he has divided AE into 5 parts:  Musicality, Pacing, Texturing, Risk-Taking and "the perfect marriage of AE and Technical Merit".  This document will be available in dvd format - likely by the 2009 Winter Technical Meeting.  

Karen Gratton, CBTF Technical Chair, will inform all provincial technical chairs when the dvd is available through our Media Library (Rachel Bower).
