THESE RULES ARE OUT OF DATE

Please note that the document attached here only applied to the 2009 International Cup - WBTF has updated its Policies & Procedures manual for the 2011 International Cup. The updated version is posted in our CBTF Document Library separately.

The notable changes for the 2011 International Cup are:

  • The Freestyle, Pairs and Compulsory events have been removed from International Cup
  • Artistic Twirl and Artistic Pairs events have been added to International Cup
  • Countries are allowed to send up to 6 (not 10) entries in each level (Elite, A and B) and age division (Junior, Senior, Adult) of the individual and pairs events (Solo, 2-Baton, 3-Baton, Artistic Twirl, Artistic Pairs)
  • Countries are allowed to send up to 3 entries in each level of the Team (Elite, A and B) and Group (A and B) events. These events have no age divisions.
  • The rounds system (Preliminaries, Semi-Final, Consolation Final and Final) has been modified.

Level B compulsories at Int. Cup.

ATTENTION COACHES:  Please remember that the B compulsories at the Int. Cup is the Level A compulsories, and evaluated the same as the A level.  Therefore, those who are entering the B compulsories at the 2009 Australian Int. Cup, will be performing the A level compulsories.  CBTF has developed a C and B category with less demanding material than the A compulsories, but these are not recognized by the WBTF.  Ron.
