Now Accepting Applications for Team Managers to 2019 International Cup and Grand Prix

October 19, 2018 - The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation is now accepting applications for the position of Team Manager for the Canadian Contingent to the 2019 WBTF International Cup and the 2019 IBTF Grand Prix competitions, both in Limoges, France.

CBTF will select one team manager, who will be responsible for the International Cup and travel with that contingent, and funded as is usual. CBTF will also engage one team manager, who will be responsible for the Grand Prix and be funded as is usual.

The Grand Prix Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contingent for the Grand Prix, and the International Cup Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contingent for the International Cup. Both will be financially supported, as indicated above, by the contingent member athletes through their athlete surcharge, less any fundraising undertaken by the athletes, provinces, or otherwise. CBTF will arrange team managers travel and accommodation in consultation with the managers. Depending on the size of the contingent, an additional team manager may be required, or one team manager could manage both competitions.

Background information on the CBTF Team Manager Program, Job Description and Application Form is attached. Interested applicants are encouraged to review this material and complete the application form. Applicants may also send their personal resume in addition to this application (recommended). Letters of reference related to the position are also welcome and will be considered by the Selection Committee.

All applicants must reply by January 2, 2019. Please send your application package to Joanne Moser, CBTF President, by email at president [at] cbtf [dot] ca.
