Pilot Projects for 2013-14

Three new pilot projects are being introduced this year. These initiatives form one part of a strategy that the CBTF Technical Committee is using to help improve Canada's international standing.

"Strong athletes are a direct product of strong coaching and judging programs."

Based on the above principal, the CBTF Board made a substantial financial investment for the 2013-14 season. This cash infusion ensures that our coaches and judges will be provided with numerous opportunities to grow and improve. There are no less than twelve workshops and webinars available this season. We encourage all CBTF coaches and judges to participate in them - feed your mind with new ideas and knowledge!

On the front line, we have three pilot projects to assist coaches in developing strong athletes (both individual and team):

  1. Extended Solo Music
  2. Mini Solos (I and II)
  3. Pre Twirl Team and Level C Twirl Team

A complete description of these pilot projects (purpose, video demonstrations, music, how to participate, etc) is provided in the links above and can be accessed provided you are logged in with your CBTF.CA username and password.

These are very positive initiatives that aim to raise the standard of individual and group twirling in Canada. We encourage all clubs and provinces to get involved.
