Anika started baton at 5 years old - 8 years ago. Her favourite routine is 3 baton - she loves to juggle. One of Anika's goals for this season was to attain Level A in 3-baton - which she did and it was the first event to get an A Level score. After her Level A in 3-Baton, she followed that with a Level A score in the Medley event.

Anika has participated in two Canadian Championships - 2008 and 2009. This will be her first International Cup.

She has also taken the Level 1 coaching course this past year.

In addition to baton twirling, Anika also plays hockey, soccer and softball. She is involved in the Student Council at school.
