Matthew is a 16 year old Grade 10 Honour Student attending Northern Secondary School in Toronto, Ontario where he is a member of the Junior Swim Team. He has been twirling competitively for 7 years.
Matthew's other activities include Karate (Shodokan), where he holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt.
