Taelyr began twirling at age 9.  She attended her first National Championships in 2006 at the age of 11.  Taelyr also enjoys dance, and has begun teaching (baton and dance) as an assistant at her local studio.

Taelyr's other interests include music, reading, movies and, of course, her friends.
