Zoë began her baton career at the age of six with her best friend Sarah Schulz under the instruction of Miss Mandy. She came into our school to introduce the sport and we have been hooked ever since.

Sarah and Zoë are still to this day best friends and twirl, dance, and attend French Immersion at school together. All this leaves their schedule quite busy, but they are doing what they love most. Zoë also loves to travel and the sport of baton twirling has given her the opportunity to travel to various provinces in Canada and also to Twirl Mania in the United States and to the International Cup in Australia.

Zoë has had various different coaches; Mandy Yip, Kendra Masters, Stacey Singer, Jill Ford, Lucinda McMaster, and her current coach Loren Dermody. They have shared their love of the sport and helped her to become the twirler she is today.

Zoë is so thankful for what baton has done for her life and for all of the great people through the years many of which have impacted her life.
