The Competitive and Pre-Competitive Opportunities and Phases charts that were developed by the CBTF Technical Committee and approved by the Board of Directors in September 2020 have been adopted on a permanent basis.

Note – All disciplines can be offered at these competitions provided organizers follow Provincial Health Guidelines and Provincial Return to Sport Stages/Phases/Restrictions (i.e. pair/duet and/or group events cannot be offered if your province is not in that phase of return to sport).

Note - For any Type B Open Competition that is deemed closed because of facility restrictions, competition results will count towards advancement, provided athletes compete live, either virtually or in-person.
