Parking Options at York University
UPDATED June 14, 2010 with additional parking lot option
York University is a large, public, campus with a variety of parking options available. The 2010 Canadians Committee has made arrangements for a Weekly Parking Pass (automobile only) to be available at one of two lots on the York campus.
Either Weekly Parking Pass must be requested in advance - the deadline for orders is Friday, June 18.

Please note: Metered parking areas are diligently monitored and tickets are issued, ranging from $40-$100.
Option 1 - Closest
The closest parking option available is at the Arboretum Parking Garage (#80 on the attached York Keele Campus map). This parking garage is approximately a 2 minute walk to the competition venue, the Tait-McKenzie Centre (#4 on the attached York Keele Campus map).
A Weekly Pass (good for July 4 through July 10) to the Arboretum Parking Garage is available at a cost of $70.
Option 2 - Cheapest
A cheaper option is also available at the Founders Road East Lot (#66 on the attached York Keele Campus map). This outdoor parking lot is a 10-15 minute walk to the competition venue, the Tait-McKenzie Centre (#4 on the attached York Keele Campus map).
A Weekly Pass (good for July 4 through July 10) to the Founders Road East Lot is available at a cost of $50.

Hotel Options at 2010 Canadians
December 5, 2009 - The Canadians Organizing Committee have named three Official Hotels for visitors to the 2010 Canadian Baton Twirling Championships. These hotels all represent great value and offer a variety of amenities.
With the assistance of Tourism Toronto, special group rates have been negotiated. To take advantage of these rates, and to be included as part of the Canadian Championships group, clubs/visitors must contact the Westmont Hospitality Sales Office via email (north_yorkcluster [at] whg [dot] com) or via phone (1-866-259-3501) and ask for the "OBTA Group Rate" for the Canadian Championships. If you prefer a hotel that is not among the official hotels, please contact LeeAnn Wilson - working with Tourism Toronto she may be able to negotiate a group rate at the new hotel.
