Cookbook Recipe Deadline Extended

March 1, 2010 - Thank you to everyone that is involved with the CBTF Cookbook project - as a provincial co-ordinator or as a recipe submittor! The response so far has been good, but I know we can make it great...
To give everyone a chance to get their favourite recipes submitted, we are extending the submission deadline to March 15.
These are the sections that are beginning to shape up:
- Eat to Compete (for athletes to share a favorite recipe the week or day of competition)
- beverages
- appetizers
- muffins/bread/buns
- salads
- soups
- sides (sauces, veggetables)
- main dishes
- pasta
- casseroles (full meal in one dish)
- seafood
- desserts/cakes
- cookies/slices/squares/snacks
- judges
- others (play dough ...)
There have been plenty of recipes in the cookies/slices/squares/snacks section (no surprise!), and we are definitely looking for more recipes in these categories:
- Eat to Compete
- sides
- soups
- salads
- casseroles
- seafood
I'm sure there are recipes people have used at the lunch concession - don't hold back!
