2011 International Cup Late Declaration Process

Canada is allowed to send up to 10 athletes in all Individual and Pair Events/Divisions/Levels and up to 6 Teams/Groups in each Level - spots in some Events/Divisions/Levels are still available. These remaining vacancies can be filled by athletes following the Late Declaration Process, strictly on a first-come first-filled basis. Once all spots in an Event/Division/Level have been filled, no further declarations for that Event/Division/Level will be accepted.

As approved by the CBTF Board of Directors at its 2010 Fall Board Meeting, Late Declarations will be accepted under the following conditions:

  • A Late Declaration Fee will be assessed ($25 per athlete)
  • The appropriate (Individual, Pairs, Team or Group) International Cup Declaration Form must be completed.
  • The $200/athlete Contingent Fee Deposit must be submitted.
  • For No-Qualifier-Required Divisions:
    • Late Declarations be allowed in Divisions with available slots, on a first-come first-filled basis.
    • Late Declarations be allowed from January 1, 2011 through May 20, 2011.
    • The Declaration Form, Contingent Fee Deposit and Late Declaration Fee are submitted directly to CBTF using the mailing address found on the Declaration Forms.
  • For Qualifier-Required Divisions:
    • These events will be held at the International Cup Qualifier in Calgary
    • Open to all entries – those that have already declared as well as any others
    • The Declaration Form, Contingent Fee Deposit and Late Declaration Fee can be submitted along with the Qualifier Entry Form

Refer to the Results of the 2011 International Cup Declaration Process article to identify the No-Qualifier-Required and Qualifier-Required Divisions.
