Several positions on the CBTF Technical Committee and Executive are scheduled for election this year.

The deadline for nominations to be received by the Nomination Committee for the six positions listed below is August 31, 2025 (refer to the attached Nomination Form for email address - contact Jeff Johnson at past-presidentatcbtf [dot] ca if you need instructions for submitting your nomination by regular mail). Elections will be held at the 2025 CBTF Annual General Meeting, September 13, 2025 using Zoom.

The position of Judges' Representative on the CBTF Technical Committee and Board of Directors is scheduled for election this year.

The position of Coaches' Representative on the CBTF Technical Committee and Board of Directors is scheduled for election this year.

Persons who reside in provinces that do not have a CBTF-affiliated provincial association can become members of CBTF as Direct Members.

Participation in CBTF programs/events is determined by the Membership Type purchased.

October 1, 2024 - The Continuing Professional Development tracking spreadsheets are attached below. Please ensure you are using the tracking sheet that corresponds with the season you are tracking!

The CBTF Executive shall assign a current CBTF Member in Good Standing to as as the CBTF Complaints Officer.

To apply, complete the application form attached below and submit to the CBTF President. The successful applicant must also agree to and sign the CBTF Complaints Officer Non-Disclosure Agreement, also attached below.

These are sample membership forms that can be used as a template by a provincial organization (or clubs, with approval from their provincial organization). These are templates only - they must be modified to include the provincial or club organization, and be updated to reflect the correct fees for that province. English and French form templates are attached below.

Email address of person submitting the event information. Used if any clarifications are required.
Event Information
Sanction Number provided by the National Sanction Officer. DO NOT provide the Provincial Sanction number, that will only slow down the refund processing.

The Sanction Fee paid with the original sanction request.
Choose your refund method.
Enter the name of the person/organization that paid the Sanction Fee - club, provincial organization, or individual.
The email address that can receive an e-tranfer. If the payor cannot receive e-transfers, enter the email then the CBTF Treasurer should contact to make alternate refund arrangements.
Enter any other information that you would like to include when your event is posted.

ORDER DEADLINE: Orders placed on or before December 1 will be processed with the January shipment. Orders placed after that date will only be shipped on a best-efforts basis.

Orders are shipped directly to clubs/provinces from Barker's Trophies in Regina, SK. Shipping is by Canada Post unless otherwise specified - the anticipated shipping date will be the first week of January.

CBTF will invoice clubs/provinces directly - charges will include shipping and GST. Invoices are payable upon receipt. The per-medal cost will depend on the total number of medals ordered.

Part B - Qualifications
If you are a Course Conductor for other CBTF courses, please list any courses that you have previously instructed. For each course, include the Date, Location, and Course Coordinator's Name and Email address.
Please list all CBTF courses of which you are currently a Course Conductor. For example, "Coaches Level 1", "Adjudicator S2".
I have participated in the following Updates/Seminars/Focus Meetings that pertain to the courses for which I am applying to become a Course Conductor. For each update, include the Date, Location/Event, and Presenter(s).
Part C - Experience
Briefly describe your experience with the CBTF Skills Development Program
Briefly describe your coaching experience and indicate which level(s) of athletes you have coached
Briefly describe your judging experience
List any Provincial and/or National Technical or Board positions you have held or currently hold. Include organization and dates.
List all relevant experience in instructing, public speaking, presentations, seminars and/or classes (provide documentation of any certifications if applicable)
Provide any other qualities, attributes and experience you have that would, in your opinion, meet the CBTF Course Conductor expectations and standards
Describe any activities, projects, or programs that you have undertaken to support the CBTF SDP, Coaches and/or Judges programs
List any volunteer contributions you have made to your provincial baton association, the CBTF, or the WBTF
