CBTF will be hosting a "Video Virtual Freestyle Solo Fiche Test Event" in February 2026. This virtual event will be used to test the fiche system, event/judging timing, judging and tabulation paperwork and processes, the tabulation system itself, and provide some feedback in terms of scoring to athletes and coaches preparing to compete in the 2026 Canadian Team Trials.

This event is specifically for those athletes who have submitted an intent to compete in Freestyle Solo at the Canadian Team Trials.

IBTF FREESTYLE SOLO EDUCATION FOR COACHES

To obtain the proper education and materials to coach IBTF Freestyle Solo and submit a Fiche, coaches should enroll in the IBTF Module 5 Freestyle Solo Education Program via TwirlED. TwirlED is the IBTF portal and is different than the CBTF Education Portal. IBTF Module 5 education includes seven sections of self-paced online courses with a review at the conclusion of each course. The cost is $100 USD and includes the Freestyle Manual. If you wish to only purchase the manual and not the course, you may do so on TwirlED for $50 USD.

JUDGE REGISTRATION

All CBTF judges certified by the IBTF in the NJS are invited to volunteer their time to participate in this test event. Link for judges to register:
