Judging Applications - 2011 Qualifier, 2011 Nationals, 2011 International Cup

December 3, 2010 - CBTF Judges are invited to submit an application to judge at the following 2011 National and International competitions:

  • International Cup (Jacksonville, Florida; August 4-8, 2011)
  • Canadian International Cup Qualifier (Calgary, Alberta; May 21-23, 2011)
  • Canadian Winner/Championships and Open Competition (Winnipeg, Manitoba; July 3-6, 2011)

(Dates listed above are subject to change. Judges selected for any of these events will have pre- and post-competition responsibilities)

All registered and current judges who have any of the following CBTF/WBTF certifications are invited to apply:

  • Module 2
  • Module 3 & 4 (old course) or Module 3 (new course-effective Jan/10)
  • Module 5 and/or Masters Judges

Qualified applicants will be assessed by the 2011 National Judges Selection Committee on three attributes:

  1. Judging experience
  2. A practical assignment
  3. Other qualities (e.g, contributions to the sport in terms of leadership/volunteerism as well as personal growth and development in baton and related disciplines)

The Judges’ Selection Committee has the final and complete authority to determine the members of each judging panel for each of the above competitions. The Judges’ Selection Committee is responsible to the CBTF Board of Directors, Executive and Technical Committee. The CBTF Executive has final and complete authority to determine the members of the Judges Selection Committee.

Completed applications must be received by December 31, 2010.
