March 2, 2010 - Today the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation announces that Steven Kopas has been selected to be the Team Manager for the Canadian Contingent to the 2010 WBTF World Championships in Bergen, Norway.

The brochure and entry form package for the 2010 Canadian Team Trials is now available.

February 5, 2010 - The two judges selected to represent Canada at the 2010 WBTF World Championships in Bergen, Norway will be Ron Kopas and Tina Larson. In addition to their judging duties, they will also be representing Canada at the WBTF Technical Committee and Judges Committee Meetings held in Bergen before the competition begins.

January 26, 2010 - The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation is now accepting applications for the position of Team Manager for the Canadian Contingent to the 2010 WBTF World Baton Twirling Championships, in Bergen, Norway.

The Job Description and Application Form are attached. Submission instructions are included in the Application Form.

We have a map showing the relative locations of the Trials 2010 competition venue (University of Regina) and the nearby recommended hotels.

CBTF Cookbook

The CBTF Cookbook project is well underway.

We, the coaches, will display professionalism, integrity and respect for the letter and spirit of the sport by adhering to the rules and regulations of the CBTF. We will provide a supportive and informative foundation by striving to seek knowledge and gain experience expressing the highest regard for all members of the community.

January 13, 2010 - The Canadian Trials Organizing Committee have selected the Regina Travelodge South at the official Host Hotel for visitors to the 2010 Canadian Team Trials.

For the 2010 competition season, the Compulsory Suit dress code requirements will remain relaxed.

As a result of FBM 2009 Motion 14, the WBTF Pair Declaration Form is no longer required - the Provincial Trials/Championships entry form shall serve the purpose of the Pair declaration.

As a result of FBM 2009 Motion 14, the WBTF Team Declaration Form is no longer required - the Provincial Trials/Championships entry form shall serve the purpose of the Team declaration.

CBTF shall permit the hiring of certified United States Twirling Association (USTA) and World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF) Judges for open, provincial and national competitions providing the following conditions are met:

January 1, 2010 - CBTF is creating a cookbook! All current and past CBTF members are invited to participate in this nation-wide project. The cookbook will feature contributed recipes and will also include highlights of CBTF's rich history.

December 18, 2009 - Applications are now being accepted for the position as one of judges at the 2010 Canadian Team Trials and the 2010 Canadian Winner/Championship competitions.

December 17, 2009 - Two CBTF coaches have been nominated for the Chunky MVC: Most Valuable Coach award, sponsored by TSN, Campbell's Soup and the Coaching Association of Canada. The 'nomination phase' of the contest will close on January 6, 2010. To this point, the coaches nominated so far are:
