  Darlene Fisher moved that Twirl Canada support the concept of a National Training Camp.

  Darlene Fisher moved that Maureen Johnson develop a National Training Camp and will report back on the results of how it is proceeding to the new Twirl Canada Executive.

 

1984 FEM MOTION #11
 

Lynda Feingold moved that the CBTF reiterate its support for a National Training and Development Camp. Due to severe time and financial constraints, it is not possible to conduct such a camp in '84. Consequently, the first camp will be scheduled for the fall of 1985 and held annually thereafter. Prior to the AGM the Executive will develop:

  1. a bid procedure
  2. objectives
  3. selection criteria
  4. financial structure

  Betty Infilise moved that Ron Kopas develop role responsibilities statement to provide direction for the Canadian World Team Camp.

 

1989 FBM MOTION #4
  Bev Latrace moved that the Training Camp for the Canadian World Team be arranged for August 7-8-9, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas. Mandatory attendance by all members of the Canadian Team.

 

1993 FEM MOTION #6
  Deardra Leslie moved that the Canadian Team Camp format and practice schedule for WBTF Championships as set out by the CBTF Technical Chairperson must be recognized and adhered to by all Team members, coaches and parents. Any suggestions or comments for the Canadian Team format must be sent, in writing, to the CBTF Technical Chairperson by June 1st (ie: prior to the WBTF Championships) for consideration.

 

1993 FEM MOTION #7
 

Deardra Leslie moved that during the Canadian Team Camp practices for WBTF Championships, the following format will be adhered to:

  1. One tape recorder will be used.
  2. When using "centre floor", only the music of the athlete(s) involved will be playing.
  3. Other athletes, not using "centre floor", may practice, without music, around the perimeter of the gym.

 

MAY 1994 SPECIAL TECH MTG MOTION #1 (RATIFIED - 1994 SBM)
  Brenda Bennett moved that it will be expected that all athletes representing Canada at the World Championships, their coaches and parents must cooperate as a unified team at the Team Camp and at the World Championships to be best of their abilities.
