Level 1 Technical Coaching Course (SBTA)

Who: Anyone wishing to become certified to teach (or help teach) a recreational baton twirling program. The course provides an introduction to the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation’s Badge Program as well as an overview of how to provide beginning twirlers with proper fundamentals.

Sunday, November 14, 2010 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
COST: $30.00 course fee and $30 for a manual. The manual must be purchased from the SBTA office prior to taking the course.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must obtain your manual well in advance of the course. Participants are required to read the entire manual and complete two assignments prior to the start of the course. The following assignments must be handed in to the instructor at the start of the workshop:
- CBTF Coaching Credentials form
- Pre-Entrance Open Book Examination
MATERIALS TO BRING:
- A baton and comfortable athletic wear (clothing and footwear)
- CBTF Level 1 Coach’s Manual
- Completed Coaching Credentials Form and Pre-Entrance Examination
- Pens and Paper
- Snacks, Drinks, Lunch
