Kick-off meeting for the new WBTF Continental Affairs Commissions. Canada belongs to the Pan-American Commission (Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Brazil).

The meeting is being held in Paris, France, in conjunction with the WBTF Winter Technical Meeting.

The WBTF Continental Affairs Commissions are charged with developing all aspects of baton twirling on a regional basis - coaching, judging and competition (for example, a Continental Championship).

There are four commissions:

1. Asian Affairs Commission
2. European Affairs Commission
3. Pan-American Affairs Commission
4. African Affairs Commission
