May 2, 2022 - The Competition Brochure and online Entry Form links for the 2022 Canadian Winner/Championships are attached.

May 12, 2022 - An updated version of the Brochure is attached. There was an error in the Minimum Score standard required for Level A Freestyle and Level A Pair which has been corrected. The correct Minimum Score standard for both of these events is 45.0.

April 18, 2022 - There is official merchandise available for both the 2022 Canadian Team Trials and the 2022 Northern Lights Classic Open competitions.

As part of our COVID protocols, the merchandise vendor will not be on-site during the competition.

For the shipping method, please select “team delivery” to pick it up at the event.

April 4, 2022 - If your provincial organization, club, businesses, or any individuals would like to adverstise in the Canadian Team Trials Souvenir Program, the deadline to submit your request and artwork is April 22.

March 20, 2022 - Dana Peteleski, CBTF Technical Chair, today announced the result of the compulsory draw for the 2022 Canadian Winner/Championship and the 2022 Northern Lights Classic Open competition, in the Level BI Freestyle division.

March 21, 2022 - The Brochure and Entry Information as well as Host Hotel information for the 2022 Canadian Team Trials and Northern Lights Classic Open is attached.

The map below shows the relative locations of the 2022 Team Trials competition venue (University of Regina, Centre for Kinesiology, Health, and Sport), the Canadian Contingent Clinc venue (Martin School of Dance and Baton Twirling), and the Headquarters Hotel (The Atlas Hotel).

The Headquarters Hotel is The Atlas Hotel. Rooms are available at the special room rate of $139.95/night + taxes. A team breakfast is included in that rate, along with free parking, and wi-fi. The deadline to reserve rooms is April 22, 2022.

March 20, 2022 - Today the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation is pleased to announce the Team Manager for the Canadian Contingent to the 2022 WBTF World Championship in Turin, Italy. Steven Kopas has been selected as the World Championship Contingent Team Manager.

The CBTF Executive acted as the selection committee. The committee was chaired by President (CBTF President).

March 15, 2022 - Please take note of the preliminary schedule for the 2022 Canadian Team Trials. The order of events is subject to change.

After entries have been received and processed, the schedule will be updated with start times for each event.

February 6, 2022 - The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation is now accepting applications for the position of Team Manager for the Canadian Contingent to the 2022 WBTF World Championship in Turin, Italy.

CBTF will select one Team Manager, who will be responsible for the World Championship and travel with the contingent. This is an honorary position - no salary or honorarium will be paid beyond travel and living expenses.

CBTF Technical members can now enrol in courses directly within the CBTF Education Portal, without have to go through the CBTF Store.

The list of course offerings is available on the 'Site home' page after logging in to the CBTF Education Portal.

Payment processing, if required, is powered by PayPal. Payment can be made by debit or credit card, OR by PayPal account (if you have one) - a PayPal account is not required.

November 25, 2021 - Steven and Kristin Kopas will be hosting a Facebook Party the weekend of December 3-5th. Facebook parties are designed to learn about the products, interact with the hosts and other guests and even win some fun prizes! You get to enjoy from the comfort of your home, with your preferred beverage without having to endure the Canadian cold weather. Can't get much better than that!
