The map below shows the relative locations of the 2016 Team Trials competition venue (Abilities Centre) and the host hotel (Delta Toronto East).
The Delta Toronto East has been selected as the Host Hotel and has non-smoking rooms available at $149/night (single or double occupancy). All Team Trials participants are asked to stay at the Host Hotel.

As part of the athlete accreditation process, the CBTF requires that all athletes provide a Health Certificate indicating they are in generally good health and are fit to compete.

At the WBTF 2015 Summer Meeting, a change to Element Number 1 (Grand Jeté) of the Short Program was approved. I am bringing this to the attention of all Coaches and Judges as this change will be implemented immediately and will be in effect for the 2015-16 competitive season - all CBTF and WBTF competitions, including Team Trials and the World Championships.

At the 2014 Fall Conference, the CBTF Board of Directors approved a Continuing Professional Education and Development (CPED) Program, designed to foster the development of Coaches, Judges, and Officials, in order to advance amateur twirling in Canada.

July 2, 2015 - The Lynda Garland "Award for Excellence" was presented for the seventh time at the Canadian Baton Twirling Championships in Oshawa, Ontario. The recipient of Lynda Garland's "Award for Excellence" was Joyce Ormshaw of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

July 2, 2015 - At the Closing Ceremony of the 2015 Canadian Baton Twirling Championships, held in Oshawa, Ontario, Ron Kopas was honoured by the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation for his many years of service to the sport and the organization.
The John L Smetzler Mens' High Point Award was renamed to now be known as the Ron Kopas Award for High Point Men's Solo.
