May 14, 2026 - CBTF awarded a posthumous honorary membership to Kim Genton. The award was accepted by her daughter, Amy Kalin.

Kim was the CBTF National Judges Representative and a member of the Board of Directors at the time of her passing. Kim’s passion for the sport and developing the judging program are but a few of her many contributions to the sport. She was a former athlete, a coach, an adjudicator, a judge, an administrator, and a volunteer.

We miss her dearly and are so grateful that her daughter was able to accept the award.

March 19, 2026 - The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation is pleased to announce the selection of the judges who will represent Canada at the 2026 IBTF World Freestyle & Rhythmic Twirl Championship and Nations Cup in Paris, France.

For all CBTF designated events, all official delegation members (athletes, coaches, judges, and officials) whose primary residence is outside 100 KM from the competition venue are required to stay in the designated lodging options provided by the host organizing committee when the host committee stipulates it is a condition of event sponsorship.
